Dude, I don't really know much about this. And I need to go to sleep now.
Well, protection is less important against enemies that aren't very durable. Simple attacks will probably be enough for them.
Sweet dreams.

I have a strange feeling that Nebok doesn't really like dwarves. So far, we only encounter them as enemies, not a single peaceful NPC. And this is happening right next to ruins that are important to them.

You're mistaken, it's just a coincidence.
And the ruins are CURSED for them. So it's not surprising that there's no one around.

Do we send Kraylos to his certain death and help him with the Funnel spell? Or do we fly away last?

We might not send reinforcements. It's up to you. You can run away from the demon and go fight zombies. I won't blame you. As long as we win and the demon doesn't kill me or an important NPC.

Strike the demon with lightning. Funel won't be able to reach it.
