Thiollas still decided to go to the village alone, which he did, completing all the necessary paperwork.
Passing by two suspicious men, Thiollas headed towards the village. One of the residents led him to the village elder.

Before heading to the Stream, Lyroy stopped by the "Happiness in a Bottle" shop, where he bought potions of accuracy and evasion (if they worked on him, that is) and inquired about the city's necromancers.

-I see, this is a reliable plan. Listen, are you by any chance a local? What's the word on the street? Is there some kind of epidemic in the city? Is it safe to walk around?
- No, I'm not from around here. Yeah, some kind of plague. They don't really know what's going on. Some people get sick, and others don't. I was going to stop and rest, but I decided not to risk it.

- You've chosen a good location for the estate, - the elf smiled and released the servant's hand. The elf had no more questions for him; Cenira was now fully focused on thinking about the monster. Having a little more information than the description "a monster that lives in the lake," she tried to remember the known species that fit the mayor's description. Checking for awareness.

-So that's how it is. Damn it, - the mercenary was quite upset. -And by the way, have you happened to see a guy in spiked armor, about two meters tall, around here?

Whatever

I've seriously lost my focus here. Thanks, Siever. So, please excuse me if I'm slow and make a lot of mistakes.

- Hello, are you an alchemist?
- Yes, I am an alchemist and a traveling healer. Hearing about you, I couldn't just pass by. Please tell me more about the illness. What are its symptoms, how do people get infected, was there anything unusual before the epidemic started - anything you think is relevant, I might need any detail.
А, вот почему.

Before heading to the Stream, Lyroy stopped by the "Happiness in a Bottle" shop, where he bought potions of accuracy and evasion (if they worked on him, that is) and inquired about the local necromancers.
The shopkeeper frowned.
- There is one here, a lady... but it's best not to get involved with her. She doesn't have a very good reputation. But if you want, I can give you her address. Just don't say I gave it to you!
-- So, the mayor's estate, right? Is anyone there right now?
- Hmm, I have no idea.
- He chose a good location for his estate, - the elf smiled and released the servant's hand.
Having no more questions for the servant, Cenira completely switched her thoughts to the monster. Having a little more information than just the description "a monster that lives in the lake," she tried to remember the types of creatures she knew that fit the mayor's description.
The elf recalls that nymphs live in the Shaon Lake, and they use thorny plants to attack unwanted guests and can charm males with their magic.
- So that's how it is. Damn it, - the mercenary was very upset. - And, by the way, have you happened to see a guy in spiky armor, about two meters tall, around here?
- No, brother, I haven't.

What are its symptoms, how do people get infected, was there anything unusual before the epidemic started - everything you think is necessary, any detail may be useful to me.
- Finally! Half the village fell ill in one day! Let's go to the patients. You can see for yourself what's wrong with them.

- Hey, you little pest, - the necromancer poked the young mage in the side, - this is the work of a nymph. Most likely, she thinks someone has trespassed on her territory. She's probably angry at the owner of a certain estate. But that's just my guess, of course. What's my point? That the matter can be resolved peacefully. Probably. Maybe. In any case, you're risking more than I am here.

– Blo... Nymph? That’s not good, – the lion frowned. – I don’t know which of us is in greater danger. Let’s see if our nymph is aggressive. If she is, I’m not even sure I’ll be of any help.

- For some, that might even be a good thing, - the elf smirked, - but not in our situation, of course. I agree that we should try talking to her. Just... you stand back a bit. Just in case.
