Posts from - Neutral creatures in Heroes 3
I always take snipers if they join, regardless of the number (and there are never fewer than 7)...
Where did you get this information from? The number of any monster on an adventure map varies from 1 to 9999.
Sincerely, VDV_forever

More precisely, from 1 to 4000.
In a garrison, the maximum number of monsters in one stack is 9999.
Neutral creatures indeed have a maximum of 4000. Thank you for the correction.

Based on my gaming experience. If he places 1, diplomacy appears later, and the number of snipers increases.
I don't understand the meaning of your statement. :( Could you elaborate?
Also, I've never encountered less than seven.
The thing is that most often, a player manually places fewer than 5-7 units, i.e., on a map created by him, with the exact number of monsters specified (and with the indication that "the number does not increase").
You just haven't encountered such maps yet, but you have everything ahead of you!;

I hope you feel the same?<
nomads have a positive effect on the turn, as for dragons - in my opinion, 2 crystal ones are better than 1 azure, but that's strictly my opinion.
Snipers rule, wizards.. hobbits are also okay - freebies are great everywhere, and using them to distract shooters is just the thing!
Well yeah, trolls are also not bad - damage+regeneration
What is there even to discuss here? It would be better if someone like Amber-Soler or VDV_forever wrote out various tricks :D :D :D :D like about nomads - super!
Но поскольку я нищий,
у меня лишь есть мечты.
Я разостлал свои мечты пред вашими ногами.
Ступайте бережно, ибо вы ступаете по моим мечтам.
Thieves are only good on the map (and very good at that), but they aren't very effective in battle, which is why I like them.
Sincerely, Draco
As for their weakness... they're not supposed to be strong anyway.
But Hobbits are too big.
I played on some map (maybe Heroes 3.5), and I got my butt kicked by one of them - he had 600 or 800 health and incredible speed :)
What exactly do you mean? Be more specific. What does "got my butt kicked by one of them - he had 600 or 800 health and incredible speed" mean - are you talking about a commander, a monster, or a hero?

explained all sorts of tricks :D :D :D :D, like about the Stronghold - it's super!
And VDV_forever gave me (and not only me) some advice in one of his posts about hiring monsters in the Dungeon castle (in the portal) - that was pretty good too ;)

Why is it nonsense? If you spend a week with the starting army, it won't be nonsense anymore.
But doesn't it all come down to the same thing?
Creatures join – so at least they join somehow. They run away – they run away. They attack – accordingly...
Thieves don't affect the diplomacy skill in any way.

Also, if monsters join for gold, you might be short 100 gold. Without thieves, you would simply attack them and kill them. But this way, you sell resources and gain a significant advantage in your army.
