I don't see the point in changing the music, as it's disabled in the game.

Why change it at all? If you get tired of it, just turn off the sound in the game and play your favorite music.

I tried changing it, but the quality was still poor! I need to try setting the bitrate to 320!:smile35:

Basically, +1. But I didn't change or turn anything off in the original Heroes of Might and Magic III, because the music there perfectly enhances the immersion in the game world, in my opinion. But in World of Xeen, I already played with Winamp.

Why is the main theme in Heroes of Might and Magic so good? I either don't change it or I turn on Winamp; I used to do that a lot in Morrowind.

I simply never took WoG seriously – it's just an amateur mod, and therefore you can afford to disregard immersion in the world.

I can't even imagine a computer without speakers! I wouldn't last 2 days without them!!! I always have music or game sounds playing. That's what it would be like if I didn't have speakers!:smile34:

I used to change it, then I switched back. Now I just listen to it on Winamp, with the sound turned off. And I don't see the point in changing the music – you won't find a better melody anyway. In Heroes, the music fits in organically. Best regards, Draco

Hmm... I did exchange them, but only once, and then I decided against it.

I changed it several times. I used a chopped-up version of Apocalyptica (Guano Apes) for the battle theme, and also used Break the Line, Innocent Greed, Walks on Water, themes from Halo, and even Hyperblast-Redux from UT2004. The main thing is to chop it up properly! But in the end, I always went back to the standard themes. Few things can replace the original.

I used to do it like this:

I didn't change it; I like the standard one. :)

I always have the music turned off in Heroes.
