I still want to share my thoughts on the character quests. In my opinion, they are definitely needed, as they allow not only the GM but also the players to get to know the character's personality. Of course, there are those who don't care about the characters. I'll honestly admit that I didn't read Loken's, Ment's, and the later quests of Nebka and Alex right away, but rather during the process, when I remembered that I didn't even know anything about them (except that Ment is bloodthirsty and that he doesn't just enter contests under the pseudonym "Wash yourself in blood").
However, I can't ignore Thomas Sivovsky in particular. In my opinion, with such a character portrait, he fit perfectly into the atmosphere of an Araidian character. A random, unremarkable nobody, which he even played quite well when he could. It was something original and unique.
But this is just an exception that proves the rule. It would be uninteresting and boring if every player created a nobody with no history, with whom it would even be uninteresting to play.
The only thing I want to note about myself is that I personally wanted to role-play the character's quest more. For example, to write about how Livia unexpectedly stumbles on a flat surface and either falls, which is noted in a post a little later, or is caught by some character, after which some characters would snort disdainfully (if they are Castor or Aiyano), while others would be a little worried about the safety of the fragile sorceress (for example, Tsukiko, Seliad, Father Tsiniy, if he were still alive). But real-life circumstances + the "Hall of Shame" + 100,500 corridors didn't allow me to do this. Not because Revan is bad and the experience isn't great, but because everything turned into plain text. And I simply don't always have the opportunity to write. For example, I wake up in the morning, there are still a couple of players, I could write something interesting for role-playing, but I'm on my phone and my capabilities are very limited (although I wrote many posts like this, but mostly plain ones, which was also a pain).
However, it should also be noted that all these corridors and other things did not prevent me from writing according to the plot after all the in-game manipulations and the result. Other players did the same, at least I noticed it with Ment and Plesen, who also wrote about changing their worldview (and Ment was also nerfed for this and lost 1 skill point). Loken also wrote about the kamisama somewhere. And one cannot underestimate the value of the "Heroes" reports, which were very enjoyable.
And in general, as far as I remember, the point of playing the experience is precisely for such role-playing. At the very beginning of the experience, I went to work as a maid, expecting to be raped and killed there. I didn't want to die in the palace only because the character's death there is impersonal and uninteresting. Of course, I would like Livia to live, become stronger, and find her happiness, but I am interested in what Revan's imagination can do to her. What conditions to put her in, what to turn her into, what trials to arrange, and how her adventure will end.

I like it when we create the explosion. I'm neutral about the rest.
I haven't read the previous experiences, but I feel like there was something cool about such cataclysms.

And if that's the case, then we need to add a system for breaking weapons and items, a system for fatigue, a system for changing weather conditions and landscape, and a system for eating food and defecating.
Weapons seem to break here anyway.

By the way, about the serious attitude to role-playing.
Yesterday, I wrote a long concluding post before work in the morning, and because of that, I was even 15 minutes late for work. Just because I didn't want to miss any details (although, I still missed something).
(and Ment was also nerfed for this and lost 1 Attack)
No, in my posts, I was only leading up to something like this, and it's unknown how it would have ended (I thought about actually changing my worldview, but it's not certain that I would have). The priestess of Kirishima put an end to this issue; her ability triggered.
Me too. But it seems like one phrase was enough, and we all had to make a Willpower check against her Charisma. Or maybe she selectively targeted me for her experiments...
By the way, Revan, if you're so keen on realism, you should reconsider the book and potion system. Hanging out in a bar for stats and having side conversations about who should pass which book to whom looks even worse than the queue for the witch's diary in the Sabbath.
Realism has nothing to do with it; I've never made it a priority. I see all of this (conventions, non-combat inventory, ways to enhance oneself, etc.) as depth of gameplay and great opportunities for player interaction with the surrounding world, and that's all.
Heh, I laughed when I remembered. My character was still against touching other people's things, and then suddenly: "Give it to me, I want to read it too!!!"

Heh, I chuckled when I remembered. My character was initially against touching other people's things, and then suddenly: "Give it to me, I want to read it too!!!"
It amused me too. I took a look, just out of curiosity. Then I turned around and saw a crowd of people waiting behind me.
