Necropolis is the BEST; it doesn't have a single unnecessary detail.
And, plus, they live high up – it's beautiful.

I like Inferno. And, by the way, I don't like Fortress or Haven.

IMHO, almost all the cities are pretty good. Perhaps Haven and Academy could be considered the least impressive, but overall, in descending order:
1. Dark/High Elves (I still can't decide which one I like more; both have their own unique charm).
2. Inferno/Dungeon (pretty much the same – two fiery pits, and both are well-designed).
3. Necropolis (I like the view from above when flying around; up close, it's not that impressive).
4. Academy/Haven (I just didn't like these castles; they don't appeal to me).

I was drawn to two factions: Necropolis and Academy; in my opinion, they are the most beautiful. The Dungeon didn't impress me; it's dark, damp, and very scary.

I think, if we evaluate objectively, the most beautiful maps are: the city of mages and humans. But yesterday, I was playing in the evening as Dungeon, and in a room with no light, I spent about 5 minutes rotating it in all projections. It felt like the first time, and I had the feeling that I was somewhere nearby, in the same environment.

I personally like all the faction cities.
Yesterday, someone brought me a projector... And my wallpaper is almost white, so I had Heroes 5 projected onto the entire wall... I played for 7 hours... Until they took the projector away.

I like all the cities; each one reflects the atmosphere of its respective faction. But the Dwarf city is disappointing; some buildings are impossible to see without zooming in.

I vote for the Human Castle. It was made well and with high quality. I like the musical score; in my opinion, it fits perfectly with such beautiful visuals. Here are some screenshots: this one and this one. This is partly why I love the Humans faction so much. I think that in Heroes 5, this castle turned out the best of all.

I apologize to everyone who likes the Dwarf Castle! I recently took a liking to this castle, and I think the town is very beautiful:smile07:!!!

I like the Dungeon and Necropolis castles the most. The Dungeon castle has such a beautiful design and cool music, while the Necropolis castle has a sky and a sense of tranquility...

Humans - a beautiful city, immediately reminds me of Warcraft.
Elves - I already mentioned... it's strange that their city is in the water. Too much water is harmful to wood.
Mages - a cool, floating city.
Demons - a tower. It was better in the 3rd game, although it's difficult to make it the same in 3D.
The Hammers of Fate - I don't like it; it's not clear where everything is located.
Necropolis - nothing special. Tall spires... it would be better on a hill.
Fortress - ..., I like it more when they live in the mountains, not in a pit. Hehe.
Stronghold - good. Better than the previous four. Although a desert would look better.
IMHO.

Arandor, it's a moat)))) And the water probably doesn't directly touch the roots of the tree.

The coolest castle is the elves; it's beautiful, practical, and you even want to live there. Besides, the units are strong, which is why I'm even more fond of this castle.

My vote goes to the High Elves. Nature, water, music... ah... romance! Although the Dark Elves have a cool "neon glow").
