It seems to me that the Ossians went first, out of turn.
Yeah, that's right.
Added 31 minutes later After the battle ended and they defeated the overwhelming enemy, Fiver A. Belring aimlessly wandered around the spherical chamber, using the last of his strength in his wounded, but still living, body. Besides him, fifteen fresh corpses lay scattered in these ancient ruins, four of whom had once been living people close to him. Fiver wasn't well acquainted with Gesper Larian and disagreed with many of his actions, but he acknowledged his skill and strong will. Captain Cyros Rind was an old family friend, and Celia had long been a part of the family, and Fiver treated her almost like a sister. Delirium A. Belring, his father... At this point, Fiver couldn't hold back and knelt beside the lifeless body of the Marquis, tears streaming down his cheeks.
The mercenaries safely reach the ruins. Descending, they find many corpses and a sleeping Fiver.
Returning to the ruins, Alaria expected to see anything, but certainly not a massacre and Fiver sleeping in the middle of the corpses. The Tanarsian didn't want to believe that all this was real. She was so close. In disbelief, the girl began to examine the corpses of Delirium and his entourage, hoping to find something that even remotely resembled a pulse. But her eyes did not deceive her – the only survivor was the son of Lord Belring.
- This is impossible...
At first, Alaria wanted to wake Fiver up to find out what had happened here, but she stopped herself, realizing that the young man was in an even worse state now. He didn't just lose his friends and father – they died before his eyes. And he couldn't do anything to prevent it.
- Gilon, - whispered the inquisitor to the elderly Beliad, - examine the younger Belring, just in case he needs help.
Meanwhile, the Tanarsian decided to check Delirium's notes. Perhaps he had recorded something of what he had learned.
Also, search the corpses of the "Lotus" members.
