I don't think anyone will go for it until: 1) we reach a point where the cake is the only key. 2) we get out of the palace alive (if we manage to) and somehow check for magic/poison. Let's go east.
Livia was shocked by the situation. She couldn't shake off the thought of that ill-fated pastry they had found in the last room. What kind of treat was it that its very existence drove the Dreierian to commit suicide? And why did Tsukiko want to take this abomination with her? Perhaps the sweetness had nothing to do with it, and Tria simply couldn't handle the psychological stress. But Livia didn't want to think about that. The Dreierian had made a positive impression on the young elf, so it was unpleasant to realize that she was gone. Livia forced herself to gather the suicide's belongings. At least something would remain as a memory of this interesting person.
I don't really like pastries. And I'm not a big fan of sweets either. Next time, put some good quality dark chocolate in there.
Mesmerized by the pastry, no one in the group noticed how Tria drew her dagger and stabbed herself. -That's not good, - Seliad said wearily, shaking his head. -This place is weighing on us more and more. It seems that some can no longer cope with this oppressive atmosphere. After the body was dealt with in the usual way, and the belongings were gathered, with everyone pushing and arguing over each item, casting a sad glance towards Tria, or rather, no, towards the appetizing pastry, the group headed further east. Well, not exactly headed, they decided to take the pastry with them, carefully avoiding the bloody fragments of the body scattered around the beautifully furnished rest room. A couple of minutes later, there was no trace left of yet another sad victim of this terrible place, just as there had been no trace of the others before.
Hero, I'm not sure if I should ask you for the earrings, but you clearly don't need the tome of air magic very much. Will you give it to me?
Added 1 minute later Although, I'll probably need to learn water magic urgently before I start leveling up air magic. It turns out it's hard without it.
After recovering from the shock, Alaria, along with the other members of the group, divided the belongings of the deceased. The dead no longer need possessions. The ring was decided to be given to Jerl, as a friend of Kurat, implying that he would pass it on to his family.
I'll take all the teas and other consumables. And the money. Lobeelia's revolvers and ammunition. Pills for the doctor. The ring for Jerl. Boots for Gilon or Lobeelia. The rest for whoever wants it. Agreed, Arec?
Added 2 minutes later Fiver takes down two knights (ideally, from a position where he is further away from the other two) Syros takes down Archer 1
As the group progressed through the northern corridor, they encountered a strange phenomenon: the room they were walking through filled with a ghastly-looking black mist, but nothing noticeable happened, and they safely passed through it. After going through another door, they found themselves facing two options again: go north or west.
