Well, you guessed wrong! Tarnum set out in search of the Ice Blade to prevent it from clashing in battle with Armageddon's Blade. After all, Armageddon occurred after the Blades crossed, and the ancestors didn't like that very much; however, subsequently, Kilgor's wife stole the Ice Blade, as I believe it is described there. By the way, I killed Jela on the last map and captured Armageddon's Blade; how it ended up with Jela again remains a mystery to me. :) As for Kellendros, he was probably asking about the plot of the Fire Moon and the World Tree; I can't help you there.

In my opinion, the "Underworld" part is quite interesting, but still, IMHO, the Chronicles don't quite reach the level of the "regular" Heroes games. But overall, it's a pretty good game.

I played the first four games. I liked the Lords of Elemental more – that’s where I first saw the Conflux. It was something new and interesting. I won’t say anything about the other four.
In general, the series is very successful. Firstly, it is united by one hero. Secondly, it is quite long. Thirdly, it has a real history, one plot. You don’t play it, you read it!

You don't play, you read, in the add-ons to the third Heroes game and in the fourth part. The Chronicles introduced several annoying inconsistencies into the M&M universe, and that's why I personally don't like them very much. But of course, I understand that this is, first of all, a matter of opinion.

And, honestly, the underworld is the best.

Ice Blade is the best of the Chronicles! The missions are very well thought out, the plot is captivating, and besides, the focus is on Azure Dragons, which is so appealing... it's not often, and certainly not in all campaigns, that you get to control this unit. I would have preferred to pit them (the Azure Dragons) against a Swamp Lord with powerful Gorgons, rather than Jela with his snipers and Golden Dragons, to add some spice...

Yes, Icewind Dale is an interesting series, definitely. Especially because of the azure dragons. Ah, I wish I could play the other parts, but I've been to all the stores – there's nothing. But Dragon Wars is also great!

Here you can download the campaigns for all parts of the Chronicles in the .h3c format. Six of them are in Russian. There are no main menu screens, loading screens, or additional hero portraits here. Everything else is included.

I only liked Dragon Battles (haven't played the others).
