I saved a bunch of images, some of which are quite depressing, and now I look at some of them and think: "I hope I never need these." Sigh.

A cylinder has a clearly defined goal and an understanding of the meaning of life as achieving that goal. The surrounding environment is viewed solely from the perspective of completing the task as quickly as possible. Everything that is not related to the goal and does not hinder its achievement is ignored. Obstacles are removed as quickly and reliably as possible. All without hesitation, doubt, whining, screaming, looking back at various nonsense, and other Dostoevsky-esque things.
And the inscription "Flush me down the toilet" is an instruction for disposing of something that has fulfilled its purpose, when its further existence makes no sense at all, and a self-liquidation mechanism is not provided due to a number of technological and economic reasons.
