At some point, it seemed like it was a real animal, especially since it suddenly turned black, acquired a denser texture, and began to resemble a figure made of lava, dark with red streaks.

I remember taking off from the city in an airplane and looking at it from above, and red cloud-like creatures were walking around it, as if the place was engulfed in fire. We drank some wine, and the old man told me that the drug I had taken allowed me to see special hallucinations, from which I could learn something very important. At the moment he was saying this, I did indeed see some kind of image in the style of Mayan art flash before my eyes for a moment, but with incomprehensible hieroglyphs that were out of place. It was only for a couple of seconds, like a slide in a presentation. Of course, I didn't understand anything. Hearing a siren approaching from a distance, I threw the unfinished bottle on the floor and went to the exit of the cellar outside. Crouching down, I hid behind a low stone fence surrounding the cellar and cautiously peeked out. Many police cars were patrolling the narrow, nighttime rural streets; I had only seen that many in St. Petersburg, but it's a common occurrence there.
