The problem is that the rollback works up to version 4.208, which also doesn't recognize them. But it's not possible to roll back to beta 1 through the launcher. We started playing on version 5.0 beta 1, not 4.208, which can't open them.

In the end, I solved the problem by finding version 5.0 beta 1 from one of the players and finishing the game on it. Thanks to everyone.

Urgent fixes are needed in the beta regarding heroes. Besides the fact that heroes from campaigns and Mullich appear, today, on day 131, a hero with 1 nymph appeared in the tavern in the right slot (similar to the principle of a wandering hero).

In some games, the save before battle function doesn't work (it doesn't appear at all), while the daily saves do work. Both checkboxes are checked.
Also, if the reconnection after a connection break occurs precisely during a unit's movement in battle, the game freezes completely.

Regarding the heroes from campaigns appearing – it seems clear that this is a problem with the mirroring in the new HW_Rulez.

However, the disappearance of an army on a hero (presumably, it doesn't matter whether it's in the tavern or with the player) with mirroring is unlikely to be related. The nature of this bug is not yet clear to me; if it suddenly repeats during a replay, such a save would be very helpful.

Have same, thats why i collets files for (beta 2) and earlier (4.28) versions to end games on that versions .. very hard wold be to install them to another PC of my opp, but for ending game i must do this.

Due to the large number of intermediate 5.0 beta versions, many save games cannot be completed. Perhaps you could upload the installers or simply archives with each beta version, to allow players to finish these games?

Crash when rebuilding the map in Heroes of Might and Magic V in the Dungeon, where should I put the save files? It didn't work here.

A strange situation arose in HotA through the online lobby, and I don't know what to think. I want to figure it out.
Yesterday, I started a game with a player from another country. The first turn went normally, but on the second turn, he wrote something about having a large amount of gold and about cheating. I'm not sure if he's a cheater or if he's accusing me; I couldn't understand, as I only know English with a dictionary. Anyway, I tried to understand what he was writing using an online translator, and eventually, he left the game.
Today, I loaded that game, and on his first turn, everything was normal, but on his second turn, he had almost a million gold.
The question is, how could this have happened? Is it a bug or cheating? It's unlikely to be cheating because why would he then write to me about the gold? In general, please help me understand.

I haven't looked at the save files, but I'm 99% sure it's just regular cheating, which many people have already been caught doing. (I'm leaving 1% for some unknown bug related to the lobby or the latest updates).

The laptop is connected via Wi-Fi. The opponent's router lost internet connection mid-game, so I quickly created a mobile hotspot, switched to a different network, and the game didn't crash, and I didn't even have to reload. This reconnect feature is pretty cool!

But SoD simply doesn't interest me anymore. What can you do? But Hota is interesting.

I am all for Hota's innovations, except for the heretical new castle, new monsters, and new objects on the map.

And the checkbox that turns Hota into SoD is nonsense. Why, if SoD already exists?

By developing Hota, you are condemning the classic version to oblivion. A significant portion of veterans will be isolated. Why break up the community? A "SoD style" checkbox (minus the Cove, minus the "marshmallows," etc.) - why not?
