While creating a map, I had an idea. When capturing, for example, a sawmill, a message would appear stating that the sawmill could be upgraded by spending a certain amount of money. Okay, that's not difficult to implement. The question is: how can I make it so that after upgrading the sawmill, it produces more wood each day (e.g., +2)? If this is not possible, can it be done in some other way?
I have an idea. You need another sawmill. Place it in the same location, make it neutral, and bury it underground using the z-coordinate. It's best to rotate it so that a hero doesn't accidentally capture it. Then, when you want the sawmill to produce 4 wood, simply assign a new owner to it – a player.
Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. Perhaps the main challenge will be the constant "hiding" of these buildings, so I'd like to handle this with a script.
