One hour once a week is not enough time...

I never read texts or watch clips, but I actually spend more time and attention on music. Considering that I generally perceive very little and very poorly through listening, and if there are alternative ways, I'd rather read the lyrics than watch a video or listen to an audio recording. So, no thanks.

After all, you also need to read the text or watch the clip.

I wouldn't say we need fewer music contests. In my opinion, they are much more interesting than picture contests, both in terms of searching and evaluating. Besides, I don't know about others, but for me, picture contests always cause significantly more difficulties when searching than music contests. Compositions are easier to remember than pictures, so when I see the required theme, I immediately recall those that might be suitable. But when I see a picture contest, I don't know what to submit; I understand that I'll have to search, and then I still can't find anything worthwhile. Although, maybe it's just me because I don't often browse pictures on the internet...

It would be great to have a special folder with pictures for all occasions, for a hundred contests in advance! :)

Generally, there's not much point in reading the texts, considering that they often revolve around "personal associations" or a free theme. In the first case, you won't experience the same feelings as the person who sent it, especially if they chose a song based on its sound and due to some personal memories or thoughts. In the second case, there's also not much point, as it doesn't matter what the text is about, so evaluating it based on the text is pointless. However, when it comes to themes like love, war, etc., it might be worth reading, as some texts could be better than others.

In the image contest, half of the entries are just things people find, even if it's something like a picture of Ment. This is less common in music, as far as I can tell.

As you can see, I didn’t submit anything for the music category, for example. Partly because I didn’t have time, and partly because I don’t really know what to submit. I usually have a lot of images on my computer. This time, however, the contest was a bit unexpected, so I wasn’t very prepared. Nevertheless, it was still much easier. When searching for images, you can view them at a speed of one image every 5 seconds, or even faster. When searching for music, you need at least a minute to evaluate it (and if you like the music, you need another three minutes to definitively determine if it’s suitable for the contest). And I won’t even mention the process of evaluating the compositions already submitted to the contest; that’s already been said.

The problem with people who don't listen to music is that others have plenty of it and don't even need to search; several options immediately appear. Consequently, these people might sometimes miss music contests if they don't have anything. It will be easier for everyone; otherwise, they try to find something and end up submitting a song that they don't particularly like, let alone others.

Yes, you always have music, but you only look for images for contests and expansions. Besides, after music contests, you can discover new great songs or bands, but contests for images don't offer the same benefits.

it's one thing to just have pictures, and another when there are specific pictures or photos of people. Not everyone saves pictures with random people, like Revan with Asian women, or like Nebok with his bearded guys.
