Well, as I understand it, this is a very popular image. It's like comparing a girl in a red hood to Little Red Riding Hood. I might be wrong.

Let's just say that references to the image of Kagura are not uncommon, but it's not always directly Kagura. Often, characters can be references to multiple sources at once. For example, this guy is a reference to the Japanese expression "Oni (demon) with a club" (meaning someone invincible) and Haidu (a great-grandson of Genghis Khan).
