I also made it home and even managed to get some sleep. As expected, the event was a great success; it was great to see everyone, both the veterans and the newcomers! I'm especially pleased that young dads are also getting involved in the tournament! It's wonderful that, in addition to the companions of our organizers and "cyber-athletes," a "VT-style Mata Hari" also attended the event, adding to the atmosphere. This time, they didn't even deceive us about the internet, which allowed us to at least somehow broadcast our session. To the dads who have aspirations about contributing and organizing things from afar – forget it. Offering suggestions without even being present and therefore not understanding the situation, and further misleading others, is a very bad idea. Anyone who wants to help should help with actions, not just talk on the forum. The only thing I can say to future organizers regarding this is that if the question arises about choosing a location closer to the city (with good internet) or further away (but slightly more convenient, nicer, and with a more rustic feel, etc.), it's better to choose a location closer to the city (this applies not only to broadcasts but also to the possibility of going into the city more often, which is, of course, not as important or interesting for the organizers, but very important for those who are traveling).

For me, this was the best "party" of my life. As for the level of organization, there were drawbacks and shortcomings, as there are every year.
Nevertheless, the overall quality was the best it's ever been. AlexHL did a great job, even though he drank all his brains and started confusing warm things with soft things.

Round 1
Mirror match against Preds, bought Tanta and the creature dwelling for 1k and got the layout and several Griffin Conservatories. Tanta got Earth and took them in the first week.
Then I went into the treasure area at the opponent's junction, finding a Dimension Door scroll along the way.
In the final showdown, the stats were roughly equal, but I had significantly more mana and skeletons, which decided things in my favor.

Wojciech and I sketched out a Jebus Cross, excellent layout. Exit with stables on 122, 6 greens, 50 ducks with oil, but a frustrating mistake on ГО cost me the game — I forgot to take a Silver Pegasus for first speed. As a result, the scorpions paralyzed and wiped out all the greens and 16 ducks :mad: I picked up another 20 ducks at the center, but the central city was blocked by 30+ Efreeti and was impassable. Luna arrived with a smaller army, but with more speed, more mana, and oil.
They left me no chance in the final. With Expert Air Magic across my whole respawn, I didn't get Haste :D

Round 3. The judge said before the draw that I would play against Lizard, Katya listened to him and drew our pair :rolleyes:

SoD mirror on ramps, a very nice and hard-fought game, probably the best among my matches with Kostya. Angels and Behemoths on my side vs. Necro-demoniation. Both of us had chances until the very last moment, and in the end, I crushed his economy at the entrance.

Round 4.
Against Tvarina on Diamond, we used all restarts and 3 more restarts on the encounter! :D
In the end, I was clearly given a better layout, but I decided to additionally dig for the Grail and place it in Conflux on 121 :)

So the score is 3-1, and I made it into the prizes at CIS for the first time, but the bitter aftertaste of the loss will linger for a long time.
