Since the 2012 holiday schedule has already been released, we can confidently determine the dates for the championship!
Knowing the dates of the championship, you can buy tickets in advance, especially for plane tickets, as they are much cheaper if purchased in advance!

Holding the championship on May 9th is out of the question, as May 9th is a Wednesday and does not combine with any nearby weekends!

It's actually quite interesting. I need to think about it. It's only 800 km from me, so I could even drive.

In principle, I could bring my laptop (although it has some minor issues... it sometimes crashes for no reason) and join the fun, grabbing Lebronich and Namvan, and maybe someone else... (I have plenty of space in the car, I can even sleep in it if there's not enough room) I can also try to get some extra time off at work to extend the trip (getting my wife to agree to such a long trip is much less realistic (( )
Of course, I'll come as a spectator, I'm not much of a player, but I can still play for fun (if any of the players want to and can find the time in their schedule).

Regarding the entry fees, it's not yet clear. It depends on how much sponsorship money I can find. Currently, the sponsorship amount is 20-25 thousand rubles, which isn't a large sum, but there's still time...
The approximate calculation is around 2-3 thousand rubles from all participants, whether they are players or spectators. If we order catering, it might be a bit more. All the sponsorship money, which I hope will be around 40-50 thousand rubles, will be used as prize money, with the prizes distributed similarly to the Michurinsk event. We might also collect 1 thousand rubles from each participant to form a prize fund, and then add the sponsorship money to it... I haven't decided yet... It will be clearer closer to the event.

I switched from StarCraft: Brood War to Heroes of Might and Magic; in that game, it was an official discipline in the WCG until 2010, and in Korea, people still attend matches like they do for football, but here in Russia, it's hard to find sponsors with money... These are probably former Heroes players???

The end of the preliminary registration is January 25... and from the 25th to the 30th, I will be looking for a cottage or a base to accommodate the required number of people.

I'll probably go, with a 50/50 chance. I'm interested, and depending on the circumstances, I'll likely attend as a spectator.
