What’s with this trend of guys using female avatars... It’s been going on for a while. I wonder what motivates guys to do this (besides being gay or being madly in love with their significant other)...
Is it a lack of attention from the opposite sex?
We’re playing Heroes, not hanging out on a dating site where everyone is checking each other out. And here are guys with avatars of girls. It just doesn’t seem right.
An avatar is supposed to represent a person on a forum and should represent them in the online world. And it’s kind of weird to see girls as avatars for guys, especially when they’re usually completely random girls, not their own.
My avatar represents my idea of beauty, but it’s better not to post pictures of my girlfriend. She’s mine, not for public display. (Plus, if someone starts “meditating” on her, she’ll experience anxiety on a mental level – that’s a proven fact, by the way).
Because they are APPRECIATORS OF BEAUTY and lack attention from the opposite sex. That's why they appreciate pictures.
But what's wrong with that? It calms me down when I look at a picture of a beautiful girl. In real life, it's the same – she's talking about something, and you're admiring her facial features...
I once had a guy as my avatar. He was so cute, I would have befriended him in real life. Although that's just based on appearance, and in reality, he could be an egoist or a womanizer.
You have a girl in your avatar, so you should be able to argue.
I appreciate beauty, sometimes I wish I were a girl, maybe I have psychological problems and lack communication with the opposite sex, but I'm a normal guy!
in general, an experienced psychologist can probably tell a lot about a person based on their avatar; perhaps there is even a field of study in psychiatry called "avatarology."
