In the poll on the topic of "Required quorum for making changes to the Rules of Online Games," two out of three options received the same number of votes. I ask players in the poll to choose the option according to which, in the future, it will be possible to make changes and additions to the existing rules of online games. 3/4 will essentially be the point where changes and developments to the rules are finalized. There will always be those who criticize even good initiatives.

The rules are refined over years. Changing them back and forth based on the whims of half the forum users is ridiculous. Therefore, I support the second option, although 75 seems a bit high. 2/3 would be possible and sufficient... but in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with being a little more conservative regarding the rules. If someone is capable of coming up with a valuable and rational change, then I think they are also capable of promoting it. And half is just absurd; we'd have to recalibrate the rules. Even if there are options like 1/2 and 11/12, I would reluctantly vote for the second.

That's a very strong statement. The rules should be followed automatically, not by trying to remember what was changed in them again yesterday.

Isn't it time to create separate rules for WТ?

If a good idea arises, no one prevents agreeing with the opponent to play according to that scenario. And even in a tournament, if desired, the organizer is free to change the rules.
