Mafia: general discussions. Auto-translated

The coolest game was with 16 players, 2 teams of 3 mafia members and a maniac. For the first two days, they made about 500 posts, and then it decreased due to losses.

Oh, that can't be compared to Heroes of Might and Magic.
And how many posts were created about that game?

Over the entire period, roughly 1500. The main battles took place during the first two days. ) Later, the mafia members were exposed, and they were simply blocked and banned without any evidence. )

Well, still not that many.

Still, it's not that many.

Yeah, you have games like that too. True, the sign-up for the game was in a separate thread. The game thread only contained the game itself and nothing else.

They're not very active here. But when there are at least 2000-3000 posts, it's good.

Does anyone keep a chronicle? It would be interesting to read it in a couple of years.

I didn't keep a chronicle, and there was no need for it – you can still easily find all of this without any problems, thankfully it's not Haven.
I just reread it.

I have a constructive suggestion. The rate at which people are signing up for the Mafia game suggests that, due to being busy and/or not wanting to play, we won't be able to gather enough players in the near future. Even if I keep reminding some people to sign up. Therefore, I would like to ask the moderators to temporarily move the topic to the "Everything Else" section and close it. We can open it again when the circumstances allow, and then we can proceed.
I have nothing against someone running their own game in the meantime; perhaps a smaller setting will be easier to gather players for.

How will we know when the conditions are right?

Well, at the very least, we have an indicator in the form of Koschei.
However, Aretz, if you have any other suggestions, I'm ready to listen.

where exactly is it located?
You can just wait and write phrases like "whoever didn't sign up is a Ukrainian/Russian."

Where exactly is it located?

In the chat.

We can wait and write phrases like "those who didn't sign up are either Ukrainians or Russians."

I'm not against it in principle, but I'm afraid it will lead to a decline in interest. Plus, there's no guarantee that someone won't come along and create a Mafia game with 12-14 players, and such a Mafia game has a good chance of succeeding.

Or maybe they won't ever gather again.

And so, the mafia is dead on Heroes of Might and Magic Online.

I don’t want the last mafia to be based on a document.
