New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Kosha vs. autists, episode N.
Damn, I stayed up until four in the morning. Stupid wars. But we won! Slaves are free, atrocities have ceased! Hooray!
By the way, you can transfer a planet, but you can't ask to. It's strangely implemented. And what if I want to exchange planets with a friendly empire, or even just a system? They need to refine the game.
I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I don't play games to be dominated, but to dominate others. On the other hand, everything is going too smoothly, almost routine: build, develop, send to a sector, and move on. Although, I console myself with the fact that those blue players, whom I surrounded, were stronger than me when we first met, but I got angry and started developing at an incredibly fast pace. Maybe the low difficulty and the overwhelming power of the Hivemind are causing this effect.
From a gameplay perspective, this makes perfect sense. Before, it was a terrible exploit that allowed you to win most wars even with a significant numerical disadvantage against the enemy.
If you bombard with a couple of corvettes, of course, it will slowly decrease. It used to fall quickly, and it still falls quickly now. With zero fortifications, the defenders receive x2 damage. Just like before.
In general, ground warfare in the space age is like the Polish using cavalry with sabers when German and Soviet tanks attacked Poland...
>Imposed a blockade on the garden planet.
>The only change for the locals is that they no longer have to give a portion of the grown turnips to the capital.
By the way, the Poles attacked tanks not with sabers, but with anti-tank rifles. But they did use horses.
But it seems like even reducing the enemy's defense to zero and matching the army size didn't help much; there were some other bonuses for the locals.
Bombardments completely halt production. There's no more rutabaga, it's all gone...
So, how is it?
if a large fleet is doing this
By the way, Kosha, why do you have so few other empires on the map?
Also, turn on crises in the next playthrough.
And, Kosha, are you not upgrading your ships at all? Why, with a fleet of 1000 units, do you only have about 100k firepower?
Heh, I've never had that problem. Maybe it only happens to those who play for expansion and end up dominating both in terms of fleet and resources. If you play for war, you don't have resources for colonies in the early game, and in the mid-game, you don't have space anymore.
