So, guess who starred in this movie and why I created this topic?:D :p I think no explanations (see signature) are needed!
In general, here it is -

Recognize it? Okay:)
My modest review:
Finally, I watched HDWT  I didn't expect to see the Second Terabithia :D, so I evaluated it reasonably - the film (despite the chaotic presentation of the plot) is good! By the way, what pleasantly surprised me is that when I recently visited Kinopoisk, the film had a rating of 213 out of 250 (which is great!), but when I went there today, it was already in 193rd place!!! Did it really rise by 20 positions? (or is it just lag :D?) In general, I registered there just in case and already gave the film +10 :) (For the sake of ASR).
Well, let's get to the point -
The first thing that pleased me in this... is the colors the film is shot in: soft, muted, pastel colors :) - I'm talking about the landscape, although I may not be familiar with American nature, their concept of vastness, but the August field and the endless blue sky create an incredible warm and cozy atmosphere  I want to immerse myself in it :D In general, blue and ochre are opposite colors, hmm, contrast, it seems, but through white, a very soft tone is achieved, the colors merge... I don't know, maybe I'm completely colorblind (and AnnaSophia doesn't have green hair at all, but light white :D), but it seems to me that the whole film is shot in whitish shades, maybe this is done specifically to age the film? Anyway, the landscapes in the film are good, country style, +1 :D
Now about the plot - as I (and not only I...) said, the film has a rather chaotic presentation of the plot (how Ben and Cassie became friends, the theme is almost not revealed, and then they complain about the short duration :( ), some scenes had to be rewatched to understand the connection =/, but the story is good, and most importantly, it's happy...
Cassie here is a realist, I don't know if you can say "the opposite of Leslie"? In fact, this view of life is not inherent to me, not yet "a plan", so Leslie with her castles in the air is closer to me  But in essence, Cassie is also a very interesting character, a funny girl  who has grown up quickly... I like her outlook on life:
Cassie:
- So, how much money did we manage to get?
Ben:
- 25 bucks...
Cassie:
- Well, at least it's 25 bucks more than we had before ;)
And in general, I liked watching how the children try to live like adults...
I personally couldn't calmly watch their wedding, I smiled and giggled (like an idiot) at the scene where Ben was embarrassed to kiss :p And in general, the wedding story is very funny, how they tell everyone that they are husband and wife... I almost fell off my chair :D I'll try to quote it from memory...
Ben with some guy
- Where do you need to go in Richmond?
- To a children's psychiatric hospital. I need to pick someone up from there...
- You want to kidnap someone from a psychiatric hospital?
- Yes, sir.
- And who?
- My wife (says a small 12-year-old boy, Ben)
- You're married?.. And was it a big wedding?..
- Yes, it was big, there were 30 guests... Pigs and boars...
- Really?
- Yes, and there were also piglets, like 8...
- Listen, son, if you are a patient in that clinic, you can tell me ;)
Well, something like that, it's funny
Again, despite the chaotic presentation (...), the ending is also quite good... Cassie helps Ben become stronger and turn "a castle in the air" into "a plan", Ben helps Cassie cope with the loss... (Although I still don't understand - did Cassie just scream or because her father was harassing her? - I couldn't figure it out...) And they both helped Ben's parents get rid of their "false attachments" and finally pay attention to each other! This is positive! I just smile when I see Cassie on Ben's shoulder... Well, and in the very end, the heroes realize their life plan, and that's just great ("when your life becomes the way you saw it in your dreams... it's amazing")...
AnnaSophia played well, I liked it, I want to watch more films with her (I'm downloading "Lunacy" right now ;))!
My rating for the film is 8 out of 10, and I gave it +10 out of patriotism for ASR ;)
P.S. Have a nice day :D
