I just watched this movie too...

Yes, it didn't make me want to cry, but it did make me feel emotional.
I don't even know if it's a happy movie or not. And for some reason, Cassie didn't seem funny to me, but rather very tired of life, having kept all her problems to herself for so long. I think that during the accident, she was ready to end her life, just to end this nightmare...
Perhaps only the ending is happy, confirming Cassie's thoughts that you need a plan in life,
but otherwise, the story seems very heavy to me.
