Check if it's version 3.1. Next:
1. Check the map. To do this, select it and try to start a new game. If the game starts, then the problem is not with the map.
2. Check the starting save file - pay attention to its size (mine is 5*867*740 bytes).
3. Check for mods. Disable any unnecessary ones (move them to another folder). For example, if you have a mod that gives the Goblin a different image or changes the amount of HP, then your save file will not load - it will crash at the very end.

Load the save file as follows:
Network game\One computer\Normal mode\Load
