You are not mistaken. A great victory in the semi-finals and an amazing, phenomenal one in the final. I think many fans were cautiously waiting to see how TTG would perform in the Champions League Final Four, remembering their lackluster performance in the regular championship.
The victory was also necessary from a psychological point of view – let's not forget about the upcoming Olympics and the TTG players who are also on the national team (Tetyukhin!, Kosarev!, Egorchev?). Oh, if only we could also get Stanley and Boll.
By the way, volleyball is like a drug for me – the more time passes, the more I want it! Undoubtedly, the fact that both national teams – men's and women's – are in leading positions in the world has an impact, and therefore patriotism also adds fuel to the fire of love for this sport.
And finally, I cannot fail to mention commentator Vladimir Stetsko. I won't be wrong if I say that volleyball with his commentary and without it are two different things. Simply amazing vision and understanding of the game, seasoned with equally amazing slang expressions with a volleyball twist. I highly recommend listening to him, you won't regret it!

Of the commentators mentioned, I would only highlight Roman Skvortsov. There are two reasons: his original commentary style and the equally dynamic game (basketball), which provides a good basis for comparison. I would like to draw your attention to Dmitry Materansky's commentary (basketball) on Channel 7. He's quite entertaining.
In football, Vasily Utkin is unparalleled for me. He's a beast!
