Here's a question. Can anyone explain how to play "In The End" on the piano? But without sheet music, as I can't read it. Instead, could you provide a more readable explanation, like a diagram of the keys with numbers indicating which ones to press? :) :) :) I think I've figured it out through trial and error, but something still feels off...

In principle, it shouldn't be too difficult there. I studied at a music school... I even played the piano... 7 notes, not counting major, minor keys, etc. And scales too!
If I had the notes, I think I could play it...

Regarding the topic... I can't help with anything. I don't have any pictures, or even the notes themselves...

The band is good. Their latest album is cool. I like it more than their other albums at the moment.

P.S. Oh well... it's a shame I don't have a piano at home... I used to love playing it.

I still don't know the notes very well. I won't be able to show you how to play it on the piano, since I only play guitar. Maybe if I had a piano, I could help you, but since I don't, I can't even figure it out by ear. Well, of course, I could ask my friend — I'll probably register him on HeroesWorld soon — he could figure it out, since he has a piano. However, I'm not sure, because neither he nor I are into that band.

My favorite band. Although the last album (in my opinion) didn't turn out very well (I only liked Wha't I Done, No More Sorrow, Given Up, Bleed It Out). But the first one I really like. Respect to the guys!

I don't remember if I voted at all, or if I voted for something bad. I don't remember. I don't like it. Except for "What I've Done" – that's not bad. But the rest... well, it's just okay. Where are the interesting rhythms, where are the memorable solos? Where are the interesting drums? And mixing vocals with rap is just bizarre.
Wolf, I don't want to upset you, but if you just approach an instrument, nothing will happen on its own, unless you have some experience in composing melodies.

I, on the other hand, like the calmer songs from the latest album... I'm tired of all the screaming and stuff. )
Exz, maybe that's not the case, but the music is good... and the fact that it's rap+rock is what makes it alternative. Alternative rock is rock mixed with other genres... and I can say that it's a pretty good variation of rock. =)
Many bands can be classified as alternative rock...
From what I listen to, you could include Muse (rock, alternative, and even some classical elements... they're masters in general), RHCP (rock, funk-rock, alternative... also experienced and talented guys), maybe MCR (punk, emo/rock, and alternative), Papa Roach (rock, rap), etc.

You're mixing things up. Linkin Park has absolutely nothing to do with alternative music. It's nu metal or new metal, I don't remember... But it's definitely not alternative. RHCP is also not alternative; it's a mix of funk and rock. That's all.

well, I don't know... usually they're written as alt. or something like that... both on FTP sites and on websites where I download stuff...

P.S. Regarding the playlist... it's not just funk and rock, there's also some rap (lyrically speaking), if you can call it that... and some other stuff... I just don't know all the names... or rather, what category they belong to...

No, I'm telling you, I think I've figured it out, but I just want to prove to myself that I'm right.

I listen to almost everything from Linkin Park except for rap. I hate rap and have never liked it. But their electronic and heavy music is really cool! Well, some of it.

And that's just a few. If they had replaced the rap with regular singing (like in rock), those would have been the best Linkin Park tracks. Again, the rap made me give it a 3 out of 5, but it could have been a 5 or higher.

Personally, I have a neutral attitude towards rap. In my opinion, it doesn't ruin songs like: Papercut, FIGURE 09, With You, Runaway, Hit The Floor, Liyng Fron You, Faint, etc. It actually fits in quite well, although I don't even notice it anymore.
And besides, why wouldn't Linkin Park be considered alternative?
