I have a question... I created a dialogue, everything is ready, but how do I make it appear at the beginning of the mission and how do I make it appear at all?
Мои карты "Свобода Эльфов","Железный Молот","Хан Мангур или Седьмой Дракон".Вернулся к героям после годового передыха)))буду делать новые карты,пишите,вместе поделаем)
Just a few more notes about the effects. It seems that the coordinates for the effect should be (2x+1; 2y+1), where (x; y) are the coordinates of the point on the map. If the video is being created in a Dungeon, then z should be equal to 18.
You can create a new map by clicking the "new" button. However, for starters, it's better to use existing maps and simply place your own objects on them while creating the video. Fortunately, there are plenty of ready-made maps available.
Today, I finally decided to learn how to make videos. I have a good amount of experience as an editor, so I understood most things in a few hours. But a very interesting question arose: firstly, if I don't put the name of the monster/hero in the "sentences" field, the file is deleted with a glitch in the editor, which is okay, but how do I handle moving files? The thing is, I saved the video in a very inconvenient location, and besides the editor, the computer doesn't see it. Searching the entire "data" folder for the video's name didn't yield any results. :smile35: I remember having a similar problem with regular maps, but then I opened them through an internet browser and copied/pasted them to replace the old ones, and then it became visible. But now, it's a real problem...
That’s what I’m saying, I created it directly in the data folder, or rather in data/dialog scenes. The Nival Interactive videos are stored there, but not mine. =(
No, if you created it using the editor and not manually in a text editor, then it should be saved within your map file. If option 1 (manual creation in a text editor) was the case, then you shouldn't have any problems finding it...
I created the video using the editor, in the dialog scenes folder, I clicked on "new folder," created a new file there, and it's still there. But the computer doesn't recognize it.
As I said, all files created by the editor are saved within the archive containing your map. Find the h5m file, open it with WinRAR, and locate your videos there.
uhm, but there isn't the required file there. And if you mean opening my map with WinRAR, there's nothing there either, I've already checked.
Added after 35 minutes Never mind, the issue is resolved. That file was deleted, I created a proper trigger in the map. Now, two new questions have appeared:
1) How do I assign multiple animations to monsters at once? When I try to make several placed monsters rejoice, I can only select the first one (the others simply aren't visible when I click "...") Issue resolved - I just needed to press the '9' key on the mini-keyboard.
2) How do I remove the hero's name when the text is displayed? It appears like this: Nimues: "my text". Is it possible to remove the "Nimues" label or replace it with the name used in the map?
How to remove the hero's name when displaying text?
Method by Ser9K: instead of linking to the hero, link to a random monster (this is also supported, as you may have noticed). In this case, you can assign it any name you want by selecting the corresponding option.
