I have a suggestion to share some jokes.
I think everyone has their own original names for units, heroes, etc.
Shall we begin?

Grand Piano - Hydra from the Swamp
Kolyunya (after Nikolai Valuev) - Giant
Underwear - Gremlins
Pokemon - Pikemen
Exhibitionist - guy in a cloak from the Conflux
Grannies - ghosts from the Necropolis
Grandpas - dwarves
Mutant dogs - Cerberi from the Inferno
Meat chopper - crusaders (maybe Paladins?) from Castle (I have the English version)
Cattle drivers - guys with whips from the Inferno (Pit bulls)

To hit someone over the head with a kettle - to use "Chain Lightning" (the English name is similar to "kettle")
Copper kettle - artifact

That's all I could remember offhand.

Masochist pit lords (demons with a whip)
Vacuum cleaner-like air elementals
Monks (from the English word "monk")
Crunchy fairies or skeletons (they make a crunching sound when they walk/fly)

My dictionary (and that of Master Ira, my eternal rival):
nightstand (stool) - gargoyle:D
little horses - nightmares
rhinoceroses - unicorns:)
little birds - phoenixes
chubriks - halberdiers:p
fat guys - peasants:D
sluts (:) ) - beasts
grandpas - mages
kitties - rakshasas

and so on and so forth:)

You won't believe it, but my father used to play Heroes 2 and 3! (He was around 45 at the time). And he developed his own vocabulary: Uncles - Minotaurs and Titans Grandpas - Dwarves and Mages Grandmas - Ghosts Birds - Griffins, Phoenixes, Rocs Girls - Archers in part 2, Medusas Flies - Dragonflies Cows - Gorgons Bear - Ogre Cave dwellers - Trogolodytes Mamelukes - Nomads Desert rats - Goblins Drug addicts - Zombies Mummy - Mummies Dragons -

Hmm... I'm actually not sure...

aaa, I just remembered something else, but it's not innovative.
psyche - psychic elements

Cow-gorgons/mighty gorgons; These are breast-bearing harpy-witches, a queen-medusa:D; Psychics-psychic elementals; Creatures-creature/ancient creature; Dogs-hellhounds/cerberuses; Cyclops-cyclops/king of cyclops:D.

Stripper – a psychic element,
Fence – a garrison,
Fluffy bear – a monster.

Monster - Behemoth (it was actually called that, I don't remember which version). Ancient Behemoth.
I think that's all...

In Heroes of Might and Magic III, all the names are normal, and I call them as they are written.
But in Heroes of Might and Magic V... gargoyles are called "bread," and so on.
