— Thank you for covering me and then blowing up those creatures, — Stefania said with a slight smile.
In the past, she herself had covered Eugene more than once. But not in battle — on a completely different kind of front. Ever since her comrade began making overly active use of female attention, he occasionally ran into overly clingy partners. And to fend them off, the Knight of the Rusting Soul had more than once resorted to the help of the Knight of the Wind.
Naturally, there could be no talk of any romantic relationship. It was simply that in moments when he needed to get rid of someone unpleasant, he would start spending more time with Stefania or with other Gildaria warrior women, depending on the situation. On the one hand, it was convenient to cite business matters; on the other, being around colleagues — and in the case of Lady of House Valentine, around a girl from a fairly influential family — cooled the ardor of his lovers for however many nights, and they would back off on their own.
Stefania saw no problem in this, because Eugene never allowed himself inappropriate behavior toward her. Rather, it was Roderick who disliked it, but he kept his opinion to himself, knowing that his daughter was prudent enough not to tarnish her own honor. Besides, in the company of Adalard's nephew, no riffraff of any sort would dare pester the girl. On the other hand — wasn't her comrade's company one of the reasons Stefania still hadn't found herself a suitor?
— What do you think about these red-asses? — Stefania asked her colleague. — Planning to dissect these ones for something valuable too?
While the squad examined what the creatures that crawled out of the lava had left behind and caught their breath, Stefania wrote a short entry for the chronicles:
Ikazkan Expedition. Reconnaissance Mission. Day ???
Participants: Stefania Valentine, Knight of the Wind, Eugene Grimm, Knight of the Rusting Soul, Odliid, Rgoktex, Makarena, Manka
After leaving the zone where we had to sacrifice half the squad, we ran into a lava pool from which 5 redskin creatures crawled out. When we attempted to start a dialogue with them, they responded with only one answer: "Tsatsatsatsa." None of us understood what that might mean, but they certainly weren't planning to be friendly.
We had to act quickly. Having worked together more than once, I had long since learned to understand Eugene's commands — he had long proven himself one of the best generals I know. While Zephyr flew and I took my usual combat stance, the Knight of the Rusting Soul standing ahead pointed me toward the nearest imp (roughly how these red-faced creatures were perceived), which he had managed to wound with a spell from his charm. One shot — one corpse.
While the rest of the fighters gathered their wits and reacted in some way, the redskins managed to hurl 3 fireballs at Eugene. At first it seemed he hadn't taken much damage, but the burns proved extremely painful. A fourth fireball hit Makarena. The damage was worse, but at least no burns remained.
Before our fighters could take positions and do anything, a sixth redskin freak jumped out of the pool. In any case, this no longer posed a problem. The enemies were close enough that Eugene, despite the pain caused by the burns, used the prosthetic eye again and instantly blew up all the creatures.
Immediately after that, Manka healed Eugene's burns.
Can we only recharge healing flasks at camp? Because I need to think about how to most efficiently heal Eugene.
In the past, she herself had more than once covered for Eugene. But not in battle — on a completely different kind of front. Ever since her comrade began making overly active use of female attention, there were occasionally partners who were too persistent. And to fend them off, the Knight of the Rusting Soul had more than once resorted to the aid of the Knight of the Wind.
I don't think Eugene would have needed anyone's help for that.
In the past, she herself had more than once covered for Eugene. But not in battle — on quite a different kind of front. Ever since her comrade began making overly active use of female attention, there were occasionally overly persistent partners. And to fend them off, the Knight of the Rusting Soul had more than once resorted to the aid of the Knight of the Wind.

He didn't acquire the priestess's curse right away, but relatively recently — I checked with Reven in PM.
You can only charge them in towns.
I thought that in this situation the camp is positioned as a town. Reven, could you clarify?
Revan already clarified this point for you. That's why I'm answering so confidently.
He didn't have the priestess's curse from the start — he acquired it relatively recently, I checked with Revan in DMs.
And that's not what I meant — I was talking about his blunt personality. He can say something so cutting that an overly persistent fan would be left speechless.
He can certainly speak his mind, but there are some so persistent that even rudeness directed at them doesn't stop them.
You can only charge them in cities at all.
I guess I missed in the thread that he had replied.
After a brief search, the lost Knight of Friendship was found in the most obvious and conspicuous place — in Sniegalitsa. How he had managed to avoid drawing attention to himself and not intervene in the Sordgard turmoil remained a mystery to Rezara.
– Sir Boundlesshart, – not every tongue could withstand the power of Master Grit's family name, but Rezara managed, – we all share your grief, but the enemy does not sleep and Sordgard needs your help. Tezoth is engulfed in chaos, and the murderers of Lord Afortek will sooner or later unleash all their might upon our borders. I would gladly give both you and myself time for mourning and sorrow, but alas, that is impossible. We must hurry.
The great Afortek Transcend fell a hero's death, but he has been succeeded by the charismatic and incredibly hot Deus Renavan. Is that not a worthy lord for a Knight of Friendship?
- The Master would not take part in this circus. Carnea, Mariarnelia, Vermgrace... Their games are not our domain, we who defend the north. But since Sordgard has chosen the path it will take henceforth, standing aside would be unacceptable for me as well. To the extent of my modest abilities, I shall lend my support to our common cause.
Grit Boundlesshart Role: Knight of Sordgard - Figures of all factions participating in the conflict do not expire as a result of defeat in battle even without a doctor on the field; instead, they survive and are taken prisoner by the victors. Available actions: - Recruit a commander with an attacking action. - Refresh another character's action. - Repeat a city action. - Diplomacy with a character from a region bordering the current location.
"- Figures of all factions involved in the conflict do not diminish as a result of defeat in battle even without a doctor on the field; instead, they survive and are taken prisoner by the victors."
"- Figures of all factions participating in the conflict do not deplete as a result of defeat in battle even without a doctor on the field; instead, they survive and are taken prisoner by the victors."
Oh no...
Oh yeees!
I take it the answer options depend on whether the fighters end up captured by Karneya or by someone normal...

I think Stef would rather throw herself under fireballs than become Eugene's pair.
She won't. Good girls get wetter from bad boys than others do — everyone knows that. She just needs a little time to get used to him.
Read above, she's been getting used to him since childhood and she doesn't give a damn. So sorry, not that scenario. Even Odlid has better chances here.
"— What do you think about these red-assed ones?" — Stephanie asked her colleague. — "Are you planning to dissect them into something valuable too?"
- Let others pick up the trash thrown past the street bin. They had as much intelligence as the uneducated masses — ordinary monsters. - It seems we're at a crossroads, — noted Odlid, — where will we go ourselves, and where will we send our copies from the parallel history?
