When the tournament ended, Stefania took a break from her chronicles to congratulate Lester Vargas:
— I am glad that your speed and brilliant tactics secured you the victory, — the girl made a slight curtsy. — Truly, the knights of Deus are not appointed from the street without talent!
Thus she noted that two knights of Marionelia had taken the top spots, not to mention that the gold award was determined not by the number of points, but precisely by one defeating the other in battle. Moreover, Ambrose, much like herself, was in the middle of the tournament standings. So this was not said in vain; the girl was genuinely impressed by her colleagues from the capital.
Having a short break between the tournament and the buhurt, Stefania decided to rest a bit from her chronicles. Fortunately, the battles were well etched in her memory, so she would always have time to describe them. Out of inertia, it was more interesting to see what the one-eyed foreigner, whom Adalard had previously asked her to observe, was up to now.
