and maybe we'll even take out some new guys...)))
but in general, I'd like it to be done sooner rather than later, because I'm following this project with all my eyes and all my telepathy...

I've played through it many times, and killing Krei is VERY easy when playing as evil. You need to use that spell, what was it called... I remembered, Disintegration. Although, I used up all my mana on Disintegration, so I didn't have enough for swords and had to run around under invisibility (I was playing as a Sith Assassin at the time). I'm curious, what additional endings will there be in this new project?

True, I used up all my Force points on Disintegrate, so I didn't have enough for my lightsaber and had to run around under invisibility (I was playing as a Sith Assassin at the time). I wonder, what additional endings will there be in this new project?

I really don't know, but I suspect that I'll have to take care of my allies.)))

By the way, I'll please the fans with a website containing video clips made by fans of both games, as well as cutscenes from the second Knights of the Old Republic! Enjoy watching!)):D

Here's another short video from team-gizka, which immediately hints that a substantial chunk of the game's story was cut from the final act on Malakor 5 http://www.team-gizka.org/2007-02-14.html

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXtysi-GE4o&mode=related&search= By following the link, you can see the cut planet of droids M4-78, although there are hardly any droids there, and it's quite creepy))

Team-gizka presents another very short video, offering a glimpse into the role of NK-47. http://www.team-gizka.org/2007-04-03.html
However, this short video may indicate that the project team is close to completing their creation, which KOTOR fans are eagerly awaiting. :smile01:

http://www.team-gizka.org/2007-07-02.html – another video from Team Gizka, and as a reminder, the remaining work accounts for only 1% of the total project... I hope they don't drag it out, as often happens... :)
A relatively new video from Team Gizka http://www.team-gizka.org/2007-10-22.html, created in October. Unfortunately, the restoration mod is still not finished...

As reported by the Russian website of the company Bioware, Team gizka will be conducting a closed beta test of the Restoration project this weekend, which in turn implies that the mod's release is finally approaching...

3 questions: 1) How is the Restoration project going? Is it still active or has it been abandoned? 2) The same question applies to the KotOR.ru website. 3) Are crashes fixed ONLY by loading earlier save files?

3 questions:
1) How is the Restoration project going? Is it still alive or dead?
2) The same goes for the KotOR.ru website.
3) Are crashes fixed EXCLUSIVELY by loading earlier save files?

I haven't been around for a while because my computer broke, so I couldn't respond in a timely manner...

1) The project is alive, but it seems to be being developed by students... And students tend to stretch out simple projects over a long period of time... The same situation is happening here with "free" deadlines... There are delays, but the more they finish, the more new bugs they discover.

2) The website is very much alive and thriving... As proof, I can provide some links to the general expansion and improvement of KotOR 2, for example, an unofficial graphical patch from some enthusiasts (or professionals) http://www.swkotor.ru/download/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=607 - an unofficial graphical patch from Xenon, and possibly the final version of another team's work, which was restoring the droid planet - http://www.swkotor.ru/download/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=595

3) Unfortunately... only by loading an earlier save file... You can, of course, download official patches, but again, it's unclear how they will work with our pirated copies...

Suddenly!
It seems the period of winter hibernation is coming to an end. After long months of silence and anticipation, unexpected updates:
1) Two new mods for restoring lost content.
2) Henon is actively working on refining details in her mod and (as stated in the link above) will likely make it compatible with the Gizok mod.
3) New trailer from Gizok. For the first time in the last two(!) years. As they promise, this is the last one. Their project should be completed in the summer.

To everyone who is annoyed by poor translations, I recommend the Russian localization by Chashchinov: http://www.swkotor.ru/forum//topic/10300/ :smile54:
There is an option to choose the character's gender before starting the game.
The author of the translation has done a very thorough and painstaking job, which deserves gratitude from the game's fans. ;)
