It's been clear for a long time that all the bad stuff comes from there (except for Ayano and Tsukiko, of course).

They will finally feel the flames
Flames that run down through my veins
I will make this city burn
We're not planning to return

Both have Japanese origins. Coincidence?
No. So far, no significant good characters have come from Nihon – only villains. Various "Nishi" that Tiaria corrupts. Yubin with his deranged offspring. Usami Kyo with "Ikigai." Perhaps Lyde also has Japanese roots. Someone might argue that they also come from other places – but those are just details!

Sentient beings are rarely capable of properly managing free will. So, they don't need it. The only question is which civilization will ultimately be more powerful. The advantage clearly lies not in technological regression...

If a magical bomb had been dropped on Nihon, there would be no Niso, Laid would never have risen to power, and he would have continued wiping glasses at the bar. There would have been no Kirishimki who seduced the ancient emperor and Tiarry, and there would have been no palace where Celene's father (or whatever his name was, the kind priest), Champ Alex, and many others died. Tiarry would not have raped Sonata, and there would have been no Ikigai and Rinze. These are just facts, nothing personal, Nihonians, but you can see your contribution to the interdimensional civilization...

- Chief, oh chief. I know it's off-topic, but I had an idea. When we sailed here... Wow, it feels like ages ago... There was a mercenary on the ship, Linette. She seemed like a good person to us. I overheard something when we were at the adventurers' guild; they went somewhere with a squad, and almost all of them perished... What do you think, should we invite her to join us?

Tiary wouldn't have raped Sonata.
Actually, Tiary didn't even touch Sonata; he considered it beneath him...

He was right, of course, but that's not the point; I've made my point.

They later traveled somewhere with their squad, and almost all of them perished...
This will happen in the future.

Oh, oops.
Then never mind, let's not create time paradoxes.

Firstly, what Ples wrote above is Tanarian propaganda, and it should be understood as such. Secondly, what Sivam wrote is historical revisionism aimed at securing Tanarian grants. Thirdly, technology is capable of enslaving the population just as much as it is of liberating it. Fourthly, achieve something first, and then criticize...

I'm reading and agreeing with the theological debate, thinking, "I don't understand a thing, but it's very interesting."

Reading and agreeing with the theological debate with the words "I don't understand anything, but it's very interesting."
There are two ideologies... Which one will you assign to Beata, and which one to Gion?
