The feature that prevents hiring heroes when playing on the Jebus Outcast template is great for PvP in the lobby. But I would like to have the option to allow the computer to hire heroes on Outcast. Maybe this option already exists, I just don't know about it? Or, if not, would it be too much to ask to add this option to the game, for example, as a checkbox similar to the "tournament rules" checkbox, or as a launcher tweak? Please.
Why do I need this? For example, I play Outcast quite well and want to introduce a friend/girlfriend to it, who are complete beginners, played a long time ago for fun, or haven't played at all. To avoid crushing them in PvP and discouraging them from playing, I want to play cooperatively against 2-6 bots in a team, where I can control the training and the bots being defeated by my friends. And if the bots play with one hero, they are not rivals at all, and it is very easy to defeat them on Outcast.
I remember when I just started playing Outcast, there was no restriction on hiring, and the computer played quite aggressively against me, even attacking me once or twice, it was interesting).
