And Shea from Sanguinaria

Shea from Sakuramori

She simply skipped one quarter.

Those silly Lafrenians, they can’t come up with different names for their countries.

Finally hearing the first screech, Futaba contorted her face into a semblance of a smile, though not with much enthusiasm. It was surprising that it had taken so long.
The enormous creature had been looming over them since morning: the more perceptive ones tried to stay away from it, others tried not to turn their heads and pretended not to notice anything, and a third group didn't even realize that something was wrong, habitually rubbing their sleepy eyes and lazily chatting with each other in typical, meaningless dialogues of bored schoolchildren. This familiar immersion in a routine, conserving the energy of their withered, lazy brains, and the lack of an immediate reaction to the danger in the group, lulled most of the "sheep" into a false sense of comfort, as if everything was normal – as if they hadn't been told what region these kinds of characters came from, and what their background was. As if this very demon wasn't capable of tearing their tiny teacher in half with practically no effort when he lost his temper.
Just one look at the student's appearance made it clear that his existence and presence in this place were a bad omen. Normal people don't reach the size of a wardrobe, don't have sharp, menacing horns, and don't turn the color of hellfire without clear reasons – either due to a scientific-evolutionary approach or because they were created that way by a god with a very specific intention. And his arrogant demeanor only completed the picture with a final negative touch.
Futaba kept as much distance as possible from this creature – which, given her size, was easy and effortless to do, without arousing undue suspicion from those around her.
One could only guess how much the headmistress had profited from this deal, once again disregarding the safety of the children entrusted to her and all principles of common sense.

Only three new students from the Academy showed up for the promised picnic, along with a large group of older students - Shera, Nira, Leila, Chloe, Buddleya, Bella, Michaella, and Varya. The new students were Ladia Moa from Eolia.

-- Hello! -- Varya greeted everyone briefly but warmly, noting that the new students looked quite interesting, but she wasn't ready to draw any major conclusions yet.

— Oh! — Shea jumped over to Vare and looked at her with interest. — Yasha! I didn't expect to see anyone from Sangvinaria here! Did you come to look for an heir?

During the inspection of the sports complex, a group of students was paralyzed by Buddlea's scream.
— What IS that?!

"Probably, she saw a pit with snakes, or some other 'strength of will' training device," Fortis lazily thought. Inspecting the local gym was now more interesting to him than playing knight and damsel in distress, and he was ready to ignore the scream, but ignoring the buzzing crowd that instantly surrounded Valotta was no longer possible.
— What's going on, why are you crowding, let me through — Fortis couldn't see what was happening because of the backs of the taller students, and he had to push and squeeze his way to at least the center of the crowd. — Holy Dante, give me a hammer to the teeth, what the...?
"And I was doubting the story about the sorceress," he thought. He needed to act, but the crowd was in the way, they were blocking him, he couldn't move forward or backward. And what could he do, he didn't even have a weapon, and that devil is as tall as a house? And the Barbarian is already ahead of everyone, whispering something in the teacher's ear, and in response, she has a blissful smile and makes jokes. — "They're joking here, they already joked in the spring. Well, at least someone is sane... What to do, half are in a stupor, the other half are hysterical... they can't handle it themselves."
Patting the nearest student on the shoulder, Fortis said to him: "Hold him back if anything, I'm going for help" — and started to make his way to the exit, as carefully as possible, without causing panic, he didn't need to make the situation worse when everyone was already on edge. Reaching the exit, Fortis dashed out of the complex and rushed to find the head of security, or the director, or at least his supervisor — it wasn't that important anymore, he just needed to hurry before something happened.

Bella learns pistol 1. Bonita learns whip 3. Iori learns armor. Flim learns shield and spends skill points on unlocking armor. Miho learns shield. Chloe learns spear 5. Mana learns pistol 5.

— Oh! — Shea jumped over to Varya and looked at her with interest. — Yasha! I didn't expect to see anyone from Sangvinaria here! Did you come to look for an heir?

— You guessed wrong, I'm more like Refitea, — the girl smiled. — I'm Varya, and you are?

Fortis finds Duncan Mandrake busy patrolling the perimeter. The former general was old, but apparently, taking brisk walks in broad daylight didn't bother him yet. "Oh, Fortis!" he said, remembering the answers he liked during the exam. "Where are you rushing off to?"

-- I guessed wrong, I'm more like Refitea, -- the girl smiled. -- I'm Varya, and you?

"Is Refitea where it's snowy and cold? Are they all as big as you there? I'm Shea."

— Is Refitea the place where it's snowy and cold? Are all the people there as big as you? I'm Shea.

— Nice to meet you, Shea. No, not everyone, but sometimes... And you're from Gyaria, I presume?

“How did you guess?!” Shea exclaimed. “Magic?”

– We simply studied the different factions and everything else so that we could give you a warm welcome.
"And after talking about Sangvinaria, the choice was actually between two factions..."

Fortis was never particularly good at running, and besides, he didn't have time to monitor his breathing at that moment, and these few hundred meters were enough to make him pant. Stopping a few meters away, barely catching his breath, he explained the situation as clearly as he could.
-- Mr. Mandragora! We have a problem! A demon is in the Academy, uhh... that is, in the sports complex! A teacher... is under a spell. The students are panicking. Whew. It seems like there's only one, but we're not sure. It's complete chaos, we need help!

It was impossible not to notice that the company gathered at the meeting was quite diverse, both in terms of newcomers and "veterans". While Nira, Barbarian, Bella, Sherry, or Chloe's inclination towards socialization was not surprising at all, Michaela leaving the library was a rarer sight. However, she still had a long way to go before she could be compared to guests from distant lands.
— Good afternoon, — the Taimanian nodded to the three, — Leila Squill, nice to meet you.
