Hello forum users, I really like how the higher vampire was made in the beta.

But unfortunately, it didn't survive until today.
Therefore, I am going to make a mod that will bring them back.
But I need pictures of these vampires; I only found 2 of poor quality on the internet.
Does anyone have photos of this creature? Or at least a mod that brings these vampires back.
I've searched the entire internet and found nothing; I would be very grateful :)

It's unlikely that you can find it anywhere online, unless there was some kind of closed beta version of Heroes (or a demo shown at E3), in which case it could be dug up. Otherwise, you'd have to create it from scratch, including everything that was removed from the final version. And I see that you only found the open beta version 0.9, which doesn't have anything interesting besides the icons.

It doesn't look like that in the beta (open and closed)! This is probably from some alpha (but a different one, not the one that was leaked online) or some other closed beta, or even internal testing!

Starting from the closed beta and up to the demo version 0.8 (demo 0.9 is essentially the official release – it contains a couple of maps, and Campaigns are either missing or there are only a couple of maps from a Campaign), it had exactly this icon, but the texture is already from the official release, and in the aforementioned alpha, it doesn't seem to be present (I don't remember for sure). Ask footman; I just can't check right now whether that vampire was there!

If we're talking about the 2004 alpha, there's no hint of this model in it; there's only a test model of a regular vampire. I've never seen version 0.8, but I'll repeat that this model might have been in the E3 demo. In general, the most logical solution would be to put pressure on the Eng forum to get in touch with people who have connections at Ubisoft so they can provide everything that didn't make it into the final version of the game, but I feel like that will never happen... which is a shame.(((:(

Yes, I saw your mod. It would be cool if you added a face like the one in the icon.
But just like in the concept art, it was purple in the icon, but yours is kind of reddish.

So, version 0.8 was shown somewhere, and then it was posted on the Nival website, but the version was already 0.9... those who had 0.8 said that all the textures of the heroes and creatures were the same as in 0.8!
