I just noticed that Revan has fixed the Essence Steal ability; now, they can no longer steal more than 30 stats at a time with "Essence Steal." I don't see a limit for "Abyss," but there probably should be a limit of 15 stats per target? If you take the Destruction skill, will "Essence Steal" allow you to steal 30 stats from each enemy within the range?

— Techniques of essential magic 1. +5% to magic effectiveness for each point of strength (1 unit) 2. +5% to magic effectiveness for each point of perception (1 unit) 3. +5% to magic effectiveness for each point of dexterity (1 unit) 4. +5% to magic effectiveness for each point of willpower (1 unit)
In reality, 40 of any stats will get you to the limit. However, you can steal more health.
Life Steal Steals 100 health points (permanently) from the target and transfers them to the caster until the end of the battle. Cost: 75 Damage Type: Magic Caster Roll: Accuracy Target Roll: Willpower Range: 10
Does this mean that items/abilities that reduce damage also reduce the effectiveness of the spell? Do Essencialist spells belong to the element of darkness, or is it "pure" magic damage?
