# Fixes the "supporting" hex bug: some combat obstacles have a so-called "supporting" hex located next to, but outside of, the obstacle itself, thus preventing these spells from being cast on what appears to be an empty hex.
Quote: Message from leiz # Fixes the "supporting" hex bug: some combat obstacles have a so-called "supporting" hex, located next to but outside the obstacle itself, thus preventing these spells from being cast on what appears to be an empty hex.
This is actually a really annoying drawback.
It doesn't work quite correctly. Sometimes, some obstacles become empty, while visually free hexes, on the contrary, become inaccessible. Example.
Could you please tell me if the plugin is simply installed in the root folder of the game, or does it need to be placed in a specific location?

Could you please provide more details about what you mean by "doesn't behave consistently"? Does it happen in battles, on the adventure map, or when switching turns? What exactly is the plugin doing wrong (or is it crashing)? After all, RoseKavalier needs specific information to fix the errors you've identified.

In all versions of the plugin – 1.15c, 1.16.1, 1.16.2 – the settings are not saved. When attempting to save the modified plugin settings, a message appears stating that it is not possible to save, the file does not exist, or there is write protection enabled. There are no Cyrillic characters in the game path, "Read-only" is not enabled, and the HD mod version is the latest. Win7 x64.
What should I do, where should I look for the problem?
I am currently manually editing the SoD_SP.ini configuration file, which is a text file, and each item has a description, for example:
# Disables "month of the PLAGUE!" # Отключение "месяца ЧУМЫ!" # Es deaktiviert „den Monat der SEUCHE!“ # Απενεργοποιεί «τον μήνα της ΠΑΝΟΥΚΛΑΣ!» # Wyłącza "miesiąc PLAGI!". DisablePlague = 1
By the way, taking this opportunity, I will report an error: the option
# Show coordinates (x,y,z) of the mouse cursor on the Adventure Map AdventureCoordinates = 1
does not work; setting it to 0 or 1 does not display the coordinates. However, this can be enabled from the game by calling up the plugin menu with F12.
