Because you chose to go with these guys, not me. My character wasn't roleplaying as someone who would attack.

In short, if Arandor agrees, he can use his ring, and arriving in this city will become his vision, with the actual events unfolding during the negotiations.
I'll just note that this is for now not a bad ending.

— Perhaps there is no other choice,” sensing that the atmosphere in the room was becoming tense and filled with negative thoughts, the priest stepped forward, — if there really must be a sacrifice among us, and it cannot be avoided, then it must be me.

It's because you chose to go with these guys, not me. My character didn't have a roleplaying reason to attack.

Well, if we're talking about a chair, and if this test isn't actually fatal (though it's hard to tell), then the priest at least has a chance to pass the Intuition check. Although, looking at Castor, he has even more chances... How silly. It really is difficult to play as good characters in expansions.

I don't mind the Sanctuary. I reread the entire discussion from today and don't see any other solutions. As Heroist said, crippling your own hero and turning them into a pig just for the fun of it isn't an option, so let the NPCs do their job and earn their pay. It would be better, of course, to put one of the female heroes there.

Arandor is overpowered, please nerf it.
-You are not obliged to do this, holy father. -Seliad approached the priest. -Your help in the fight against the dark forces may be much more useful to us than mine. Although we have no other choice. Are you absolutely sure about your decision?

Let's use the ring. Will it allow us to take down at least one of the arriving enemies, or will we have to engage in combat immediately?

If I were you, I would find out from Revan how much time you have left to revert. I would approach that moment and revert if it becomes clear that things will only get worse.
Otherwise, you might just be "sent home," which isn't such a terrible outcome.
