By the way, I haven't been setting songs as my alarm for several years now; I just use the standard alarm sound. Although I have no problem with the songs that I used to use as alarms, that was back then.
I don't really like having the same music playing for too long.
After eight to ten hours of the same song, I would probably hate it, no matter how great it is.
For me, it's more about having music that matches my mood. I feel uncomfortable with constantly changing songs of different themes, and in complete silence, I go crazy very quickly.
I really like the quiet. But a normal quiet, not when there are always some random noises everywhere. That's one of the reasons why 01:00-05:00 is the best time of day.
I used to do it like a "Heroes" player, but not for eight hours, and I stopped doing it a long time ago – it gets boring. I double down on the silence; sometimes, I do something, put on some music, and it's perfect, but when I sit in silence and tranquility, I don't even think about turning anything on. That means my body doesn't need it.
