I'm having trouble launching the second mission of the campaign; it just crashes as soon as I start it, and it takes me straight to the settings menu. The only errors I see are: Map has no rumors Player_1 has no town Player_2 has no town

There are standard approaches to solving such problems, for example:
Remove all objects from the map (except for the player's hero). If the problem disappears, remove parts of the map one by one until you find the offending object.
Remove all scripts, and if the problem is in them, debug in a similar way.
Remove everything that is unnecessarily added to the map file (modified objects, etc.).

I want to download a new map and found notes in the map descriptions like: "Version 3.1 only." I started looking for version 3.0 of the map... I haven't found it yet, but I discovered that some maps don't specify the version. Please tell me how to properly find, choose, and download a map that is compatible with my game.

Technology88, there are many important changes between versions 3.0 and 3.1. In my opinion, it's easier to install the 100 MB free patch than to look for maps compatible with the old version of the game.
