Lapistia

-- I should also mention that James Odd has a similar problem...

- Actually, I was hoping this would be considered part of my request for help, - the mercenary hesitated, - but regardless, this isn't the second of the three requests I promised our squad. But if you don't want to help me for free, which I can understand, we can make a deal. What do you think?

— On what terms?

-- I have to say, James Odd has a similar problem...

Come on, the main thing is the sword and the mask.

- There are different options. I can simply pay you with money. I can give you some interesting talisman that allows you to keep track of people you know. I can lend you a book with a very unusual type of magic for study. And I also have connections; my father is currently in charge of Yokehtan, and friends like that are not easy to come by. Well, at least in a living state.

Well, Lock, my character is blind. And he can't hear a paralyzed person. That's me, Mentha, and I asked him to join the conversation...

Iwamoto sighed but remained silent. He had only recently joined the squad, but it seemed he understood the situation. The squad had helped Ilaya escape from prison. In return, Ilaya agreed to fulfill three requests from the squad. And that would have been fine, but as a person, she didn't seem inclined to help anyone. Some kind of deal, conditions... It was as if someone was holding her here against her will and exploiting her. The issue wasn't about mathematics; if you want to help, help, but otherwise...
Oh yes, he had heard that she might be able to read the minds of those around her. Well, maybe that's for the best.

Guys, can't Ilayass resurrect our units?

The funniest thing is that a bounty has been placed on Ilais's head, but not on mine or Alex's. So, in effect, we died defending her, and she didn't lift a finger.

It will only be possible the next day, which will cost us another favor. And then again in another day, just so we don't have to write lengthy messages, but only Wilinlia is of interest.

These bandits didn't know about the reward for her head.

Then where did those 84 pieces come from? We didn't take a Mage with us, did we?

Asanmir is with us, Siv.

Asanmir is with us. Thirty pieces from him, thirty from Sarnissa. Five pieces from Dorian, five from Elea, five from Araya, and another five from Sarian. And seven pieces for James.

Then why didn't he do anything? He's an all-powerful fire mage; he could have incinerated them all with a snap of his fingers.

He's an old fire mage. He attacks once every three turns. He attacked once, and then they shot him down.

Why didn't any of the NPCs we tried to kill have the same disability?

Because he didn't spend 40-50 years in prison, where his life force and magical powers would be drained from him daily?
