Battle for Wesnoth

I need to fix my computer.

The main appeal lies in the campaigns; there isn't much fun in a regular game.

I looked at the graphics and my eyes couldn't take it:smile34: :smile34:.

I looked at the release year and made the sign of the cross.

village

In the Russian version, I enjoy the Ruuk forest on random maps. As well as the Del and El forests. And the unit names are sometimes amusing.

yes, there are many funny things in the Russian version.

Yeah, the campaign looks pretty good so far.

Which one did you start?

The most interesting ones are at the end, and they are a bit more challenging. But it's better to start with the easier ones.
I haven't played "Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow," the scenario with the aquatic creatures, or the one with the wizard, and I have some doubts about "Dawn of the Spring."

Well, I'm playing through the first campaign, it seems to be the longest and most tedious, as is often the case with beginner campaigns, but overall it's not bad.
By the way, the feature of carrying over accumulated funds to the next mission seems a bit too overpowered on the early maps. Or is that intentional...?
ownd, well, that's it, here's the taste of victory, here's where the true skill was revealed in the fourth mission, this is the beginning of great achievements in the future!

Wow, I dug up some old screenshots. Here, the Sylvan faction is also featured. By the way, I realized that I only played the easy campaigns, lol. Maybe I should start one of the more challenging ones.

That's where the real skill showed in the fourth mission; this is the beginning of great achievements in the future!

The main thing is not to let your upgraded units die.

If you want to play on easy, it's better to choose shorter maps. Also, some campaigns have a chronology. There are two dwarf campaigns, and that's exactly the case. First comes "The Fiery Scepter," and then "The Hammer of Something." The "Fiery Scepter" is actually quite interesting; it's epic. I also liked the last two (Northern Renaissance and Under a Blazing Sun), but you need some experience for those.

I only completed the campaign for the beginner Necromancer. I almost finished the campaign for Haldrik, the one where Vesnot is formed. But closer to the end, I got tired of playing, it became somewhat monotonous. For the same reason, I dropped the default campaign, but I only completed about half of it.

It's kind of hard to do, considering that the opponent is constantly targeting them.
I've only completed half of the first campaign, and I'm already playing with a save file that's been loaded and reloaded ten thousand times, and I'm undoing moves a hundred times because 40% chance happens four times in a row, while 80% or whatever it is, never happens.

It's quite difficult to do, considering that the opponent is constantly targeting them.

Pull them back in time, using your troops as a shield. Build up your healers. And don't let the enemy surround your forces.

Well, it works fine with mages and archers, but a mounted unit has a significant chance of missing when charging and will definitely be knocked back and unable to act on its next turn due to the enemy's counterattack.
