I couldn't find any discussions about this scenario here, so I'm offering material from Hero's Corner. I practically went through it in a similar way. However, Ilaya's development was somewhat different; she didn't use light magic, which made her a rather alternative Warlock, and this caused a number of problems in the 5th mission. Mission Objectives:

As a bonus, we'll take a bag – money will be constantly needed; we'll gather troops, but 4000 won't last forever.
Hero Development: Since both Raelag and Isabel arrive at level 25 with all slots filled, but with significantly reduced stats (compared to the original game), and Raelag will not participate in the last mission, we'll skip all the upgrades with our girls, paying special attention to Ilaya.
Walkthrough: Finally, real tension! We have to withstand several waves of attacks (2-4, depending on the difficulty and how quickly you deal with the enemies), culminating in the final monster, Tralsai. The mission objectives don't mention a time limit, but there is one – you have to reach the dragons (which are shown at the beginning in the Eye of the Magi) by day 50 (on heroic difficulty), otherwise Tralsai will arrive, and the mission will end.
Given that the first wave of attackers will arrive on the second week, we are acutely aware that:
1) The castle is practically empty.
2) The armies are small.
3) There is no money.
But the situation can be improved.
1. We transfer all of Isabel's elven troops, leaving Raelag with a couple of beasts for show. He will soon recruit more. We give Ilaya the Archangels and Squires.
2. Raelag sets off north, exploring the snowy plains of Ashan. On the second day, a tavern is built in the city, where a supporting hero is hired (preferably a dwarf, to avoid the snow penalty), who will collect everything mundane and practical for our high-minded and romantic Raelag, such as resources and money. :)
3. The girls start exploring the dungeon. It can be divided into four parts: the area directly adjacent to the castle, the central area (we run there first – the gold mine and the arena!), the eastern area, and the western area (behind the garrisons) – which, in turn, are divided into three branches, from which the Scars will appear. The garrisons contain troops intended for slaughter. We, as good and humane people (elves), will, of course, save them from this fate – we will take them and give them to Isabel. If they die, at least they will die under her command.
4. We build up the city with a focus on the castle and dwellings of levels 1-6. I don't recommend focusing on the dragons – there will be a catastrophic lack of money for hiring, and the money earned by Ilaya for completing the secondary quest will be enough.
5. Meanwhile, Raelag runs along the path forward, to the north. Along the way, he needs to pick up the green boots to run faster, visit the red keymaster's tent, and place a flag on the gold mine. In the alcove where the elemental dwelling and the dwarf treasure house are located (you've already guessed what our "pale youth with burning eyes" will do there?), you can also "chat about sublime things" with the magma dragons, who guard a giant pile of resources.
6. At the beginning of the second week, a message will appear that Scar Soul is coming (in a quantity of 6). Isabel is placed in the garrison with the elven troops, and the proud loner Ilaya runs along the western road to the garrison to deal with the creatures that will pass the Black Dragons standing on the road. It is possible that they will try to combine all the troops into one, but in any case, they will not be a problem for Ilaya – a couple of fireballs, then Resurrection (+ the Archangels' special ability, but they can only bring back 12 squires).
Regarding Isabel, if you didn't build the guild of mages, Belkina's notebook will be practically empty! How they managed to leave her, an expert in Light Magic, without Resurrection – let it be on the conscience of the developers. Her only chance to learn it is if you are lucky enough to hire Ingu and develop her into a light mage. Then she will learn Resurrection from Ilaya (if you took it) or from Raelag (who has everything in order in his book, there are even spells that a knowledgeable person shouldn't have), and she will teach everyone who needs it.
7. Raelag, who continues his journey through the snows, describes a kind of horseshoe and ends up in the southeastern corner of the map, where he goes underground and takes the dwarf castle, which we need as a source of daily income. In addition, despite the fact that the city is defended by ordinary troops, without leadership, Raelag receives a full set of the Mountain King upon victory. Here, his mission can be considered completed, and Raelag jumps into a one-way portal, and then runs back to his home city – he hasn't learned the portal to the city yet.
8. As soon as Ilaya finishes running around the upgrades in the adjacent dungeon, she immediately runs towards the quest dragons, visiting all the upgrades along the way (planetarium, military academy, 2 camps, library), and, if necessary, the Elder Silanna. Isabel follows her when Raelag is three days away from the home city – without forgetting to give him troops. The green boots are given to Ilaya – otherwise, she will not have time to run around everything and grab the dragons before Tralsai arrives.
9. Tralsai's army is always larger than ours; on heroic difficulty, the numbers are as follows: 88 Shadow Mistresses, 86 Hydras, 125 Dark Riders, 280 Minotaurs, 410 Furies, 840 Assassins. And not a single Black Dragon. HA! So when Ilaya passes through the portal to the city with 56 little dragons, and takes everything that has been accumulated through hard work in the city, he suddenly changes his mind about attacking, and he will have to run to him himself.
The outcome is clear; we watch the video about Raelag, dreaming of breeding lizards (the legacy of Sorgan doesn't let him rest) or mushrooms (here I choked on a cookie and checked the legs of my favorite dark elf for vegetation).
In the finale, Ilaya had the following stats: 30-24-23-14, Isabel – 21-23-13-10.
