Favorites, to battle! - 7
It's time for another showdown. We will compete for our favorite castle, prove its strength, delight the audience with interesting games and unconventional combinations. In this tournament, each player immediately chooses a faction that they will play throughout the entire tournament.
The first such tournament took place in 2008.
Conflux has won twice, while Necropolis, Swamp, Castle, and Rampart have each won once.
What will happen now?
I. General questions.1. Throughout the tournament, each participant plays as their chosen
favorite faction. If two identical factions meet in a match, then heroes are selected either by mutual agreement or randomly.
2.
Game version SoD 3.2 (4.0) +
HD mod.
To avoid violating the basic rules of the game and when playing on the
skirmish template, it is recommended to use version 1.23 of the
HW_rules_mod patch.
3.
Color in the seeding tables - for the first generation. Then color changes after each SUBJECTIVE restart.
4. The choice of
template is made by crossing out from the list of 9 templates: 2SM4d(3), Balance, skirmish (with difficulty level 200% with the HW_rules_mod patch), Jebus cross, Mini-Nostalgia, Diamond, 8mm6a, 6LM10a, and Spider. The player marked in blue in the table starts crossing out the template.
By mutual agreement, you can play on any other template. This issue must be discussed beforehand with the tournament judges.
5.
Standard rules.
The default timer is chess clock; the parameters are those specified in the rules.
Any
changes to the game rules are allowed by mutual consent of the players, except for changing the Favorite Faction and the Fair Play rule.
Additional rules for templates:Mini-Nostalgia. The participant marked in blue in the table begins choosing computer opponents' factions. When the color changes, the selection is not repeated; the opponent factions chosen by the player remain his secondary choices.
Diamond. The participant marked in red in the table removes the extra (ninth) faction. If the favorite factions are the same, then first red removes one faction, then blue - the second.
skirmish (200%) rules from the
