I'm willing to consider a sum of $100 per game, but I'm open to hearing your suggestions for lowering or raising this stake. I suggest any reputable guarantor from the portal with a good name, who you find acceptable. We transfer the entire amount to the guarantor at once; I think we can find a good Samaritan for 5-10% of the total stake (the amount is calculated based on the number of games and the stake). We play with each side using a build, the side playing on the opponent's build chooses the color, and the 5th or 7th match is chosen randomly from the builds that have already been played.

I think I understand why my message in defense of Simon5760 disappeared. Now it's clear. I'll stick to my opinion that Simon5760 will earn more points for the team than The_. I believe the rating does not reflect the players' strength. That's not my problem, but the rating's problem. I think it should have been changed long ago. If I end up facing The_ in any tournament, I'll play.
Unfortunately, I have had experience playing with The_. The guy hid in the bushes in ICQ, even though on HeroesWorld he wrote that he wanted to play. The game was never finished. I can print out the entire ICQ log with insults — after that, I have no desire to play with The_.

The rating is primarily statistics.
It reflects only activity and success, nothing more.
Even in tennis ratings, where tournaments are held every 2 weeks, the rating doesn't reflect true strength. If a player gets injured and doesn't play for several months, they quickly start falling down the rankings.
Strong players generally don't actively participate.

I repeat to each "generation" of players:

If you...[insert appropriate nickname] want to change the way the rating is calculated, then your algorithm should be as follows:
- clearly define what you want to propose;
- write formulas suitable for programming;
- program it yourself or find a programmer;
- suggest discussing your system with the forum;
- calculate using this system for a couple of seasons, get concrete results;
- conduct a vote - which is better - your system or the one that exists now.
And only then, if your system appeals to the forum, will it become the official formula.
