Template editing program. Instructions are included.

A useful tool for mapmakers... complete modification of object properties (without ERM).
How to use it:
Unzip the archive.
Run h3objed.exe.

Run the map editor.
Click on the object you want to change.
Copy it (Ctrl+C).
Open the program.
Select the new object type.
Click Copy.
Return to the map editor.
Press Ctrl+V.
The object has been changed!

Small patch for the map editor. Author: Bourn. Allows you to create random maps in the editor without launching the Heroes 3 game itself. Convenient for testing templates. In the editor, when creating a new map, such a window appears.

I tried to find a program or table on demonology, but I couldn't, so I created one myself in Excel. We enter 3 parameters: the number of Pit Lords, the number of creatures for processing, and the HP of a single creature. The table calculates how many demons will be produced and how many creatures need to be separated. For clarity, there is a summary table of results. The formulas use IF statements; I tested it, and it calculates correctly, and there is even some protection against user error. The condition HP > 35 is taken into account, and everything is displayed correctly. Also, the case where the number of summoned demons exceeds the maximum possible value is handled. I did not apply these conditions specifically for the summary table. Download link:

When playing, if the host has the Russian version, the player with the English version experiences font issues: hero names and city names are unreadable. Below is a file that resolves this issue – it allows the English version to display Russian fonts.

When using the HD mod, keep in mind that the Russian font pack is not included with the HD mod but can be downloaded separately from the same web page and then added as a module from the launcher interface.

I reinstalled Heroes, decided to play online, the connection with the opponent is established, ping is good, the indicators in Hamachi are green, but I can't see the opponent in the game – it doesn't happen often, but I periodically receive such questions. The reason for the problem may be the absence of the Dpwsockx.dll file (a library for working with DirectX 8) in the Heroes folder. To be able to play online, the file from the archive must be in the root folder of Heroes.

Playing as demons often makes it inconvenient to search through the demonization table, especially if a motley crew is being sacrificed, and time is wasted on counting or searching. I decided to create a more convenient and informative table so that the necessary units are immediately visible and it is clear "how many of each" are needed to sacrifice efficiently. However, it won't work for Warlord-level players, as I was too lazy to write formulas for unit levels.

I remembered another thing: if a unit has more than 35 HP, the formulas will calculate incorrectly. I think you can quickly estimate it in your head, and besides, there are rarely such high-HP units that would be sacrificed to feed the Pit, so I didn't bother fixing it.

Lider1, where did you get it from? :) I mean, who updated the FизМиГ? And perhaps it would be better to offer it in the Office'2003 format, since not everyone has the means to open the newer xlsx format (for example, I don't have it at home: I haven't needed it even once).

In the section about creature growth, nothing is said about monster weeks. So, if a week of Ifrit Sultans is announced, then in all cities where these buildings exist, the number of creatures increases by an additional +5.

I don't know if this applies here, but when installing Win 7, the Hamachi network doesn't appear in the network connections and doesn't work accordingly. The solution: Find and install Hamachi version 2.2.0.328 (do not install later versions!!). After installation, don't launch it immediately, but check in the Device Manager for the correct operation of the Hamachi network adapter and the Hamachi network connection. If everything is okay, then launch Hamachi and update it.... After version 2.2.0.328, there have been several new versions, and they all contain problems with adapter installation.
