As the post-game analysis showed, I should have immediately headed to the opponent's treasure location, where the Tome of Darkness and the Dwarf artifact were, instead of going to my own - then there would have been a chance of winning. The relics duplicated in a huge quantity - there were 7 pieces of the Dwarf artifact and 3 sets of shackles on the map. Thanks for the game.
