If a tournament judge states that an ODD is scheduled for a specific time and provides no further information, and the tournament rules contain nothing about ODDs, what does this specifically mean?
I've participated in several tournaments, and based on my experience, it seems that judges find it more of a hassle than not to properly schedule ODDs (so that it's clear from when to when we play and when we finish playing). It appears they don't want to burden the players. The start time for the ODD is agreed upon, and that's all.
However, I have encountered additional interpretations of "start time":
1) You can be 1 hour late for the ODD.
2) The minimum playtime extension is 3 hours (meaning either opponent can simply save the game if they have other plans later and will be justified in doing so).
Furthermore, I have a feeling that I once read something somewhere about ODD rules, but now I absolutely cannot find it.
