The problem is that it usually freezes because of the AI, meaning that some cities, due to events, can generate gold every day/week/another period... and also monsters (like the Tower of Rissa, for example).
By the way, in Jedy Story, there is such a thing, and the AI's growth is faster than the player's.

Is there any priority for the Russian translation over the English one?
I can recommend a couple of maps specifically in Russian (besides Paragon and Jedy Story, I don't remember any others where Russian was the original language).
