The light-skinned elves have good blue arrows, but I think it would still be difficult without magic.
And if we approach it that way, then for the sake of a clean experiment, we should try with barbarians (magic is generally alien to them).

I approached a fortress with 250 phoenixes, archangels, colossi, and dragons with a level 28 barbarian. Victory is impossible... The army is weakened, and there isn't enough money even to buy back all the troops that the castle produces... It seems that without magic, it's really tough.
